The Philippine Jaycees was formally listed as an official affiliate of Junior Chamber International on March 29, 1951. During this term, the national organization grew to 24 chapters all over the country and the first “Get Out the Vote” campaign was launched nationally.

The growing Communist threat prompted the Philippine Jaycees to ally with the Anti-Communist League. Together with the American Legion, the first “Voice of Democracy” oratorical contest was launched. The JCP By-laws were also amended to allow the national president to run for a second term.

Presidential Theme: Earth’s Great Treasure Lies in Human Personality
The increasing prominence of the Philippine Jaycees led to being tapped by government. It helped host the officials and athletes of the 2nd Asian Games in 1954. It also conducted a youth rally in honor of visiting U.S. Vice-President Richard M. Nixon, and as organized educational health campaigns nationwide.

Presidential Theme: Government Should Be of Laws Rather Than of Men
Inspired by the overwhelming success of “Operation Brotherhood” international relief project, the Philippine Jaycees held a local version of the project entitled “Help Juan,” a multi-disciplinary approach to helping the needy. It provided assistance to the 1956 Mindanao earthquake and Catbalogan flood victims.

Presidential Theme: Unity among Men… Unity among Nations
Continually beset with financial difficulties, the Philippine Jaycees embarked on a JCP raffle to augment its coffers. It sent the biggest delegation to the 12th JCI World Congress in Tokyo and conducted a Mindanao Studies Project. Lastly, it launched the “Traveling Tamaraw” project to forge better inter-chapter relations.

Presidential Theme: Our Progress… The Challenge to Our Nation
As the new fiscal year took into effect, the term marked the first dozen years of the Jaycee movement in the Philippines. The Philippine Jaycees hosted the 10th Jaycee Asia Regional Conference from April 26 to 30, 1960, and officially adopted the “Ten Outstanding Young Men” (TOYM) from the Manila Jaycees.

The presidential election impasse led to a leadership crisis, which paved the way for the National Executive Vice-President to assume the Presidency. Despite the 5-month stalemate, the Philippine Jaycees introduced the “Outstanding Filipinos Overseas Awards,” “Alay Pangkabuhayan,” and the Bio-gas Digester Project.

Responding to a public clamor to reform internal problems, the term called for a Special Constitutional Convention to amend JCP’s By-laws. Other changes included the streamlining of the National Secretariat, the appointment of the first Executive Director, and a drafting of a comprehensive financial action plan.

Determined to expend the movement’s influence further, the term conducted an aggressive recruitment program that saw a dramatic increase from 6,000 to 9,000 members. The JCP Trainer’s Circle was also organized for the first time, and “Instant Premyo” and “Jaycee Stakes” raffles were held to attract JCP funds.

Cognizant of the country’s depressed economic situation, the Philippine Jaycees embarked on strengthening its internal operations. Fortuitous events which led to the EDSA Revolution prompted the Philippine Jaycees to help the new government through “Share the Load” projects. Foremost of these projects were the “Project Charter,” “Project OIC,” “JC for Domestic Tourism,” and “Jaycees War against Poverty.”

The Philippine Jaycees continued its “Project Charter” educational campaigns on the new Constitution, as well allying with NAMFREL’s “Operation Quick Count” during the 1987 Congressional Elections. It has publicly decried against vigilante groups and helped the government’s drive against child abuse.

Presidential Theme: 40 Years of Leadership Development… Moving Towards a New Horizon
The Philippine Jaycees observed the 40th year of Jayceeism in Asia through a “Jaycee-Asia Celebration” attended by Jaycees from Asia. The term pursued electoral reforms, including simultaneous voting during area conferences. “Operation Clean Elections” was also held during the 1988 National Elections.

Presidential Theme: Redirecting Values, A New Beginning
The Ruby Anniversary of the Philippine Jaycees was observed together with the 8th Special National Convention from April 21 to 23, 1989 that attracted 1,000 Jaycees. Various projects, such as “Pamumuno sa Barangay,” “Oral Rehydration Therapy,” and “Monument for Peace” were also conducted in full steam.

As this year’s term sought to produce quality members, no less than 40 “Leadership in Action” seminars were conducted. To motivate the national board, the “Most Outstanding NEVP and NVP” quarterly awards were launched for the first time. The term also encouraged chapters to help revive the economy.

Presidential Theme : Entrepreneurs in Action
With the introduction of the new JCI logo for the implementation for a one uniform global branding of the Jaycees Worldwide.  All NOMs and local chapters are required to adopt the new logo. The administration then has devoted itself on a nationwide campaign to all its LOMs for its adoption. Since its also a constitutional amendment year thereby amended important provisions of the organization’s by-laws to correspond to the exigencies of times. The NOM Headquarters has also undergone renovation and face lifting for its beautification.

Presidential Theme: Entrepreneurs in Action
With a vision of  improving the quality and capabilities of our JCI members especially our trainers. This administration gives more emphasis on trainings and strengthened the NTC by instituting reforms by coming out with new NTC Policy Manual and held area “Trainers Forum” to re-envigorate the inactive trainers back into the training circle. The office of the National Training Director Office was also created to assist the NTC in facilitating more trainings that  produced positive results having come up with most number of JCI accredited trainers (CLTs, CNTs, NG) over the years including one IG for the last eleven years.

Presidential Theme: Entrepreneurs in Action
Believing that putting more emphasis on the marketing strategies  will gain positive outlook in terms of financial sourcing of the organization needed to execute it projects.. During this  administration it gained more the trust and confidence of corporate partners  thereby resulting for more sponsorship on national projects. The search for the The Outstanding Councilors of the Philippines (TOCP) was introduced for the first time as one of the flagship projects besides the TOYM, TOPP etc. Other projects like National Essay Writing Contest, Bring Back the Smiles, Business Networking Seminars were also implemented.

Presidential Theme: Be Better-Think BIG  “Taking Definite Action-Making Things Happen”
Embarking on a major thrust in “Making Things Happen” where its main goal was focused in making the organization to be more financially viable.  During this year it was decided that  local dues be increased by fifty percent.  Such plan  was initiated  to augment the extra funds coming from national projects, donations  from JCI Senators and Past JCI past national officers. Such move yielded positive results thereby nearly doubling the organization’s revenues. With more funds generated the organization was able to pay all the remaining JCI arrears incurred from previous years, This year was also first time that JCI CYEA project was conducted nationally. On this year the  organization also Chaired  the Alay Lakad and regarded as  one of the most successful because of funds raised and the biggest in terms of community participation The JCI Phils. building was also fully face lifted and additional office equipments were also procured and was able also to turnover a substantial surplus to the incoming administration.

Presidential Theme: Be Better “Active Citizenship, Making Things Better”
In observance of the Diamond Anniversary a Grand Anniversary Celebration and Homecoming was held last October 18, 2008 commemorating the 60th year of existence of JCI Philippines a red-letter day in the annals of its rich history. The affair was meant to pay tribute to its founder the late Artemio Vergel de Dios & 1st Nat’l. President Amb. Ramon del Rosario Sr. also to all the men at the helm who made the organization of what is today. Going along with the theme Be Better- Active Citizenship. National flagship projects like  the TOYM which celebrated its 50th year, the Batang Leader Award (YLEA), Jaycee Week, Commemorative Car Plates and JCIP Rings, Wall of Honor, JCI MAX Discount Card to name few were all dynamically implemented. The fun filled simultaneous Area Conferences, the memorable 60th National Convention in Dipolog City (Dakak) were exceptionally done. Numerous trainings (JCI signature courses) were also all excellently executed including different JCI Projects like the CYEA, BBP etc. The well attended ASPAC in Busan, Korea which includes having delegates to the JCI UN-Summit in New York City also at the JCI World Congress in New Delhi, India. All said activities contributed in making the JCI Philippines adjudged number ONE during this year being the most efficient NOM besting all the 125 JCI NOM affiliates. Such feat was regarded the first and one of the best accomplishment ever by the organization in the 18 years of history of the JCI Efficiency program.  Also an achievement to treasure was the coming up of the much awaited “Coffee Table Book” that will contain the complete historical events that best portrait on the triumphs of the JCI Philippines as an organization.

      This year’s admin anchored its theme on ONE@61 with the rallying call to be “ONE @61”…which means O – Open the doors for Growth and Opportunities; N – New Dimensions to Explore; E – Energize our Members to a New Sense of Purpose – A Higher Purpose. It was aimed towards fortifying social responsibilities in leading respective communities and encouraging excellence, innovations and productivity.  This resulted in strengthening JCI member’s capabilities practicing positive attitude in life by living this call as fine examples for constructive Filipino values.  This was also aimed in addressing times of unstable financial, political and social uncertainty not only our country but all over the world.  Strong leadership was then called upon during this hard times geared to navigate and took part in a leading role as active citizens that manifested the true spirit of being true JCI members – the spirit that binded together not only as many but as ONE in the implementation of all its local and national projects. This endeavor was then successful in the promotion of the tireless efforts in uplifting Local Organizations to continue inspiring not only JCI members and also non-members to aspire to be always “Be Better”.

This year cannot be discounted in terms of significant achievements.  It earned such distinction because of its unique objectives that served as catalyst in continuing the blueprints of success for the organization.  Anchored on the tenets of the JCI Creed driven with the passion to do things better with the 2010 Theme JCI-BLAST “Believing and Living up to the JCI Activities Systems and Trainings”. It was considered to be diverse but indeed was a noble call and perfect approach designed for more effective administration. With the renewed success of its predecessors this term embarked on this major objective based on the belief that improving the quality and skills of members is the best way to boost the strengthening process for JCI Philippines.  Although this year was compared be the same from previous years but it was regarded as model in some way or another being diverse in its goal which was focused towards reinvigorating members advocacy by means of motivating them to intensify to the highest degree in exercising their passion in living up their ways in practicing the tenets of the JCI Creed as a means of bettering their way of life guided under the slogan “JCI BLAST” in undertaking all its projects and activities.

     Year 2011 theme was 1-TEAM which stands for “Executing an Action with a Mission. Considered to be among one of the busiest year for JCI Philippines not only being the host NOM for ASPAC Manila but also once again the lead NGO for the yearly National Alay Lakad participated by thousand individuals from other organizations, NGOs the private sector, academe and the different government  agencies.  Besides from implementing all national flagships it has also launched a special project considered to be a noble one in its purpose called “Liter of Light” project.  This is basically an up-cycling endeavor that aims to provide alternative light to for less fortunate families who cannot afford to pay the high cost of energy.  This project entails teaching people how to make a solar bottle light equivalent to 55 watts per bottle which can last for several years using only plastic bottle of soft drink filled with water mixed with a spoonful of chlorine then be installed on a hole in the house roofs sealed with water re-sealant to prevent leaking. The bottle will produce light through the sunlight during the day only which results to energy conservation and generates savings and also to further promote environmental conservation and this project benefitted thousand of household in slum areas in the Philippines.
